True Grit of a Northern Town in Decline

For those of you who know me. I have rather a distinct accent. Some envy, some mock but if nothing else I’m a proud Northerner. Now Widnes is a tough town. We have 3 Victoria Cross medal winners for a start. We once split the atom. Made nose cones for the N.a.s.a apollo shuttle and won the Rugby League World Club Challenge all against the odds. So for those of you that know me I like my prints dark and heavy in the style of Don McCullin.

Taken on my 120 Bronica. This is my True Grit of a Northern Town in Decline, soon to be home to Europe‘s 3rd biggest Tesco!

Below is my work (sadly i cant get rid of the Don McCullin image above out of the slide show. All other images are mine.)
