As I’m sure most people have been moved with today news. I felt i had to write how i felt and what i remember from that terrible day at Hillsborough. In memory of the 96 and thoughts affected by that terrible day.

It was warm even close

Sky blue, heart red.
To behold and unfold
Just 9 confused frown.

Retrospective, sitting, thinking.
I can still feel the time ticking.
Faces sticking.
No more kicking.

Hours to days.
I remember brown worn grass
At the back looking down
Flowers of grass
The first time I learnt loss.

Memories leave but foundations laid.
Digest the news still feels confused.
Tear well ran dry.
People power together we try.

Let the ruling class cast the shadow?
Their heads at half-mast!

Hello! I get about a bit so here about me first. I am a visual artist and poet who works within the context of fine art. My work is grounded in documentary, exploring the inner beauty of everyday life through various lens based media. Notions of nostalgia and social commentary are present, but from a definite northern working class perspective. Instinctively I exploring the townscapes of North Wales and the North West, often producing work that reflects the every day minutiae of life.
