Peter Williams, Nottingham Forest Goalkeeping Coach (Re-Touch)

This was undertaken for Peter Williams goalkeeping coach at Nottingham forest from a very poor material source. It’s from a 9×6 contact print that was in very poor condition. The team pictures where slightly larger in a 1×1 size format. Images of the young boy saving shots where in the format of a 35mm negative. On the whole the image was in very poor condition with cracks tears and scratches. So i scanned them in at 300 dpi to try to get the best results. It took me about 3hrs to clean them up. I was really pleased with the final outcome.

Hello! I get about a bit so here about me first. I am a visual artist and poet who works within the context of fine art. My work is grounded in documentary, exploring the inner beauty of everyday life through various lens based media. Notions of nostalgia and social commentary are present, but from a definite northern working class perspective. Instinctively I exploring the townscapes of North Wales and the North West, often producing work that reflects the every day minutiae of life.
